Is illegal to have mp3 downloaded on computer?

Hello, just curious if i can pay some fine when police finds mp3s on my computer (downloaded from internet, but have no proofs its paid etc), like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Kelly Familly etc. if its illegal and can be prooven?

i think every computer in this world contains downloaded mp3 so don't worry if one gets caught everyone gets caught even the policemen also

Yes, it is illegal, if you haven't bought it. Will you get arrested, depends where you are : )
