You can earn from around $1 to $5 pet 1000 views of your Youtube videos. $2.5 / 1000 = $0.0025 per one Youtube view. So 5 views can be roughly one cent..

    -- Why $1-$5 / 1000 views? --

    1. Quoting: "So a rough lower bound on my total CPM ($ / 1k views) is $5,675 / 3.5 = $1.62 CPM." ($1.62 per 1000 views)
    2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=xNnZzgEXM3U#t=87 ($1.25 - $5 per 1000 views)
    3. Example Youtube stats ($4.03 CPM):
