How to properly delete a page from your site..?

Maybe take a note of the page URL/name and search your website to find links to this page so you do not leave broken links.
Then remove file from your website hosting account or delete it from within content management system should you use any.

Delete the page by login admin panel and Redirect that webpage to homepage.
