How to download windows 5 GB update

For windows the update size is 5 gb however the internet connection in India allows only 1 gb download daily . How to split and download the update separately in 1gb daily, so that only 1 gb is downloaded daily. Any software details will be appreciated

You can try follow these steps:

1. Right-click the Start Menu and select Command Prompt (right click it to Run as Administrator).
2. Enter: net stop wuauserv
3. Enter: net stop bits
4. Enter: net stop dosvc
5. Close the Command Prompt window.

Each command may take a few seconds to complete. If you want to reverse the process and resume downloads, follow these steps:

1. Right-click the Start Menu and select Command Prompt (right click it to Run as Administrator).
2. Enter: net start wuauserv

I decided to disable Windows updates long time ago. This is not advised, but i trust my firewall, antivirus and spybot tea timer.
