HDD errors i faced in this article:

1) Error in writting: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
2) disk does not have enough space to replace bad clusters
3) 09-Sector #5680896-5681152::Write Zeros error!

My HDD was refusing to write data getting error similar to: Error in writting: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

After some time it appears cause of this error was either data residing on bad sectors or data that was corrupted.

I used a few programs to get details about drive.

Windows tool to scan drive for errors (not bad sectors) found no issue.

chkdsk /F x:
-> no issue

chkdsk /R x:

Here (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc975119.aspx) i read that i should delete that file or more files and then try "chkdsk /R" again

WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics
Test Error Code: 09-Sector #5680896-5681152::Write Zeros error!

After initializing drive in Windows's Drives manager and formating and running chkdsk /F, i see:
0 KB in bad sectors.
CrystalDiskInfo shows 0 Pending Sectors. 1 Uncorrectable.

chkdsk /R
Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems.
No further action is required.
0 KB in bad sectors.

Then after those scans, i filled the drive with data (i had to retry copying files several times, but it finished), i think i had to rettry because corrupted files maybe.

But so far all seems to be working. drive contains mostly videos
