What should I look for in a CPU for text scanning/OCR?
Hi:
I'm using really old CPU power right now. I'd like something that's faster in general, and one thing in particular I'd like to speed up is my text scanning and OCR capabilities in Abbyy Finereader. I can't find anything on their website about what features I want in a CPU for good text scanning OCR performance. They do mention OCR is a multi-step process, so should I take that to mean more cores and more than one thread per core is better?
Thanks

Your processor uses several blocks in the code at once, starting from the DEF reservation to the adjacent one, try automatic synchronization in phyton

I sense your frustration. You should be looking for a processor upgrade to speed up the performance. To improve the OCR capabilities of Abbyy Finereader, you should look for a processor with more cores and threads. The more cores and threads, the better the text scanning and OCR performance. Also, you may have heard of Smart Engines, which offers automated and eco-friendly document scanning and OCR solutions that can take advantage of the latest multi-core and multi-threaded processors. Check out their website, as they may have the right tools for you.
