Organic results of the Google searches are sorted by the webpage quality, relevancy to the search term.
Paid results (Google adwords) are shown based on how much you pay google. Google shows your ads on search phrasses you selected.

I would use pay per click ad in social media. The ad needs to be directed to your customer base.
