Which free control panel for the Linux server is good to use if one want to use it for multiple websites hosting?
- Webmin is free and very versatile, stable and lightweight, BUT for basic user who just want to use it for webhosting is complicated.
- Kloxo is free, opensource control panel which is not that hard to use for webhosting. It is quite lightweight. Old fashioned interface. You must run old CentOS 5.x.
- zPanel is free and probably easiest web panel for webhosting. It is not perfect panel, you may face issue with web based file manager. 256MB RAM is not enough, you may need like 512MB burstable.
- http://centminmod.com and https://vpssim.com/ are lightweight and without web based interface
- CentOS Web Panel (CWP) is free and very feature rich panel and easy to work with, minimum RAM 1024MB for 64bit Linux.
- VestaCP is free and performance oriented web hosting Linux control panel, quite easy to work with, but requires more RAM, i think at least 1024MB.

For Linux amateur WYSIWYG oriented users who just need to host couple of websites, i think zPanel + config server firewall is good. For high traffic websites & WYSIWYG oriented users & 1024MB RAM+ VPS i would go with VestaCP which supports Nginx webserver.
