Right click on the hyperlink/link by your mouse. Then select something like "Inspect element" or such. The source code of the webpage should appear and you may find <a href="someurl">something</a>
if that url metatag contains rel="nofollow" it means links is nofollow, if it do not contains nofollow, then it is normal link that google can follow

If you need to discover link attribute often, then install web browser plugin/extension that will simpliffy the task.

Easy way of finding out dofollow and nofollow thing is by using plugins.
Just google it and you will find plugins developed for different browsers.
For Mozilla FireFox there is a plugin named "NoDoFollow",
For Chrome there is an extension named something like Mozbar.
I have very little experience of using these plugins, but yes these are developed to make things easy for the user

You can install SearchStatus or Quirk plugin in your browser. Here you can check no follow links and do follow links of complete web page.

First of all, copy this text to clipboard: rel="nofollow"
    In any browser:Access website you want to check >> Ctrl+U >> Ctrl+ F >> Ctrl + V.
If a text is highlighting then that forum may be nofollow!
More exactly, block which have the attribute and value rel="nofollow" and viceversa, blocks with rel="dofollow" are following links and pass pagerank!

Basically you check the source if contain the attributes mentioned above!
I am over critical thinking. It is like checking everyday if gravity works!
