We now use ShipStation, and since they made the changeover to the SP-API, processing orders with numerous items/shipments has been problematic.

Because our items are big and cannot be put in a box, we must ship each one separately. We were able to split our orders in ShipStation prior to the SP-API migration. For the most part, this would work fairly well with Amazon Marketing Services Company. For a single order containing 10 goods, for instance, we would receive 10 labels and 10 tracking numbers via the Amazon interface/ShipStation.

It is currently glitching severely with the SP-API. The majority of the batches would have error warnings. For instance, just ONE of the two goods in the same order that are supposed to ship successfully in ShipStation. The other would produce a mistake and remain in "Awaiting Shipment." However, the Amazon interface would indicate that only ONE label was made, and that it was used to send BOTH of the items.

Or occasionally, on both Amazon and ShipStation, one of them has shipped while the other hasn't. We are unable to produce a label for the unshipped item, nevertheless, for some reason.

Another illustration: On occasion, Amazon does indicate that the two goods have shipped independently and have their own tracking numbers. However, it has not been transferred to ShipStation (one item is still listed as "Awaiting Shipment"), and the specific label for the "awaiting shipment" item cannot be downloaded from Amazon or revoked.

The old API did not experience anything like this.

Amazon's new SP-API will not receive ShipStation shipment alerts for orders that are split or mixed in ShipStation, according to the shipping software. For orders that import from Amazon Marketplace, you should not use the Split or Combine shipments option at this time.

Other than individually purchasing one label at a time through buy shipping for many items, there is no method for Amazon to handle these orders swiftly.

If this problem persists, we will have to migrate to another shipping programme, thus we're curious if this is a problem with other shipping softwares.
