How to install AirDC++ on Linux - web UI
I wanted to move/migrate to different Direct Connect app on Linux.
Found https://airdcpp-web.github.io/docs/installation/linux-binaries.html
downloaded correct architecture binary (64-bit / 32-bit / ARM)
then extracted the .tar.gz archive to the location where i have apps.
Go to the extracted folder and run it: ./airdcppd --configure
(If no permission, make it executable by: "chmod +x ./airdcppd")
And run it again without parameter.
If you have used different DC++ app before, you may attempt to recover favorite hubs/users and such.
- Quit the app (maybe Ctrl+C ?)
- backup airdcpp-webclient/config/ folder and replace its contents by your current DC++ client configuration files (may be in /home/user/.config/yourapp/ or /home/user/.yourapp etc.)
$HOME/my/path/airdcpp-webclient/airdcppd
Then you should be able to manage the client using web page http://127.0.0.1:5600
