Can you tell me how do you identify risky backlinks, do you have special tools for that or ?

If you have been hit by a Google penguin penalty, you have likely been penalized for poor link building practices.

Sadly despite what Google claims about the website, I have yet to see a webmaster get their website back to the spot it was before a penguin penalty. Im not saying you can't repair but you won't fully recover. the other big factor is time, it will take a year or more after the penalty is lifted to get started on going back up with your website. You will also be more susceptible to penalties in the future. Personally, I've seen a lot of webmasters start a new website after such a penalty. Yes, you can clear links etc but how do you even know which are the toxic links. Your definitions and that of google are way different. and you will be back and forth with them about which links are bad.

To recover from the Penguin penalty, we need to follow some of the steps:
    1. Discover toxic links by creating a list of those links targeting your website, and with this, you may be able to remove all the spammy backlinks on your site. And to discover bad backlinks, you can take the help of Webmaster Tools, or you can use Ahrefs to remove the bad backlink.
    2. After collecting the list of toxic links, contact the domain owners and ask them to remove the links. As the process takes time, you must have patience.
    3. Most of the time, you cannot remove links manually because website owners ask you to pay them to remove toxic links from your websites. So, in that case, you have to disavow those links. First, you need to create a file named ‘disavow’ and then submit this file to Webmaster Tools. Once the search engine has crawled your website, it will come to know that it has to ignore those spammy links. Disavowing improves the website’s ranking.
