Some older games not worked on Windows 10. Example Test Drive Unlimited because Windows 10 no longer supports game protection called SecuROM. So some people stay on Windows 7 and 8.

For now with good graphics laptop windows 10 is best for gaming.

I would recommend you to use Windows 7 as Windows 10 is little more complex as compared old version. All the best
