Hi, have you been blacklisted already? Here you can check if your IP, if blacklisted:

http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check
Blacklist can result in your mails not delivered, you cant register at some forums and similar.
So if some forum administrator or such dont like your posts, he can report you to SPAM lists.
Then your time is wasted for removal. Some spam "rats" asks money for delisting or require registration, here is example rats:

http://www.apews.org (http://www.apews.org/)
There are some blacklists that allow easy delisting, thanks to them for not being sucker leeches.
You may listen that some blacklists are very hated and destroy whole IP networks by blocking them. Example is Cyberbunker which was blocked. Results might be DDoS (http://www.ddossite.com/) attack on these sites like Spamhaus.
