Hello,
in "Manage MySQL® Profiles" section, i tried to add new profile. SSH connection root user, password authentication. And in cpanel error log i found:
Failed to “create” Remote MySQL profile. 1 error occurred. [remote_mysql_create_profile_via_ssh] version [1].
it means i need to make sure mysqld is installed and running.
Another option is to choose to login using existing mysql credentials and then it worked for me.
But when clicked Validate button, it failed:
Failed to “validate” Remote MySQL profile. 1 error occurred.
Unable to connect to the MySQL host “remoteserverip”. Connection failed with error: Host 'hostname.ofthe.cpanelserver' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
The solution to this error was described at https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/ALD/Troubleshoot+MySQL+Profiles#TroubleshootMySQLProfi les-Overview
