Error 500 on website, where are the logs?

Hello, when i get Internal server error 500 on the website, can it mean that server is overloaded? I think my VPS has not enough ram, only 128MB.

Please which linux log files can tell me the cause of Error 500?
Im using Apache, PHP on CentOS..
