Please tell me, What Is Difference Between Search Engine Optimization And Search Engine Submission...?

optimization is that you try to modiffy your website so the SE (search engine) can easily browse it and include it properly in the search results

submission is that you let search engine know your webpage exist by sending your webpage url to the SE. example submission page: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url

Search engine submission is simply inform search engine to consider your website to get index fast and store it in it's database. Where as search engine optimization is to optimize your website by doing various modification or apply some activity as well.

search engine optimization and submission has major difference, optimization means u r going to optimize your website to get good ranking in various search engine result. in optimization process u have to add meta tag, description, and keyword in right form and also write unique and quality content for your webpages.its call on page seo, and in off page seo now u have to submit your website link in other web directory, submit press release, submit article, add url to various search engine, that call off page seo and search engine submission.
