Block webhosting/site defacement/abuse by htaccess anti-exploit/anti-injection mod rewrite rules

There are some advices on what to add into .htaccess file to prevent various website attacks and malicious code injection.
I did not tested it but im putting it there for further testing and use.

BEFORE YOU USE ANY FOLLOWING CODE: backup your original .htaccess
Take a note that any of following htaccess code can make your site or its parts/subpages not working (it can deny some valid requests, so test the whole site and subpages, if all working ok)

It can be wise setting RewriteRule (usually last line of the code) to redirect potentially bad request onto some special php page which will instruct visitor to contact admin if his request is valid. Such line can look like: RewriteRule ^(.*)$ requestdenied.php [F,L]

FOLLOWING ARE HTACCESS CODES, SOME RewriteConditions can be common for two or more CODE sets:

1)

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} (\<|%3C).*script.*(\>|%3E) [NC,OR]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} GLOBALS(=|\[|\%[0-9A-Z]{0,2}) [OR]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} _REQUEST(=|\[|\%[0-9A-Z]{0,2})
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php [F,L]

(last line means visitor is redirected to index with Forbidden message ([F))

# File injection protection, by SigSiu.net
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} GET
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} [a-zA-Z0-9_]=http:// [OR]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} [a-zA-Z0-9_]=(\.\.//?)+ [OR]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} [a-zA-Z0-9_]=http%3A%2F%2F [OR]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} [a-zA-Z0-9_]=/([a-z0-9_.]//?)+ [NC]
RewriteRule .* - [F]

Should protect from remote file injection

B)

# Measures to block out SQL injection attacks
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^.*(;|<|>|'|"|\)|%0A|%0D|%22|%27|%3C|%3E|%00).*(/\*|union|select|insert|cast|set|declare|drop|updat e|md5|benchmark).* [NC,OR]

PS: needs testing (mentioned phrasses are common and can be unwanted to block webpages mentioning them. Also maybe need to add above code into <ifModule mod_rewrite.c> or into RewriteEngine On
