I think doorway page just containing some keywords to attract visitors from google and doorway page contains big link or banner to your other, primary webpage, main page.

So this doorway page acts like an door with advertisement saying "enter here" and you enter and is redirected to your primary website.

Doorway pages is a a black hat technique where the visitors is redirected to a different irrelevant page when the person clicks on some hypertext linking of phrase or keyword.
