IoT. Our future?

What do you think about IoT? And the concept of smart house? Are you waiting for that to come into our life?

It depends on the security of that technology, security of the protocols it uses. Even with 5g networks coming I'm not sure that IoT is a safe thing to use. I believe that if it's hacked then we can witness something like Apocalypse ( because all IoT units can be easily used as DDOS or can be made to go out of order to paralyse whole countries. Agree ) but if all those flaws are well known why they are not still fixed I wonder?
